Central Animal Hospital

Our little dog Baxter was just diagnosed with diabetes and everyone at Central Animal Hospital had been so great, including our vet, Dr. Warman. They have checked in frequently, sent helpful information, and answered all our questions in a timely and thoughtful manner. Wonderful care!

My very first visit with my new puppy. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The vets that looked at my puppy were so very gentle and took time to listen and answer all of my questions (as a new dog mum I had a lot). I never felt rushed or like they were annoyed which is unfortunately what you get now a days. I can’t wait to bring him back and know he is in good hands! Thank you everyone!

We have been really impressed with Central Animal Hospital. We were concerned about our new pup and they got her in same day as a new patient. Dr. Smith has seen our anxious Millie twice now and she is so patient and kind. She always takes time to answer any and all of our questions. We really feel safe in her care and the people at the front desk are always so kind and helpful. We drive from Cambridge to come see them and will be sticking with them for our vet care.

Thoughtful, empathetic, caring. Are careful with what they charge, they aren't trying to up sell medications or procedures. They spell out the problem, the possible causes, the choices available for more information, the treatment options, and let you decide what you can afford and/or think is necessary. Unfortunately, I've seen three of the vets there in the span of a week because my dog had a sudden onset something but each vet was better than the last. They all took time with me to thoroughly explain things. They all expressed love for my dog and concern for his welfare. They started cautious and measured but ramped up as more information became available and options needed to change. The staff didn't gate off vets I had not seen so that I was forced to wait on the first vet I saw. They made an appointment with another vet so we could be seen that day. When even more information became available, a third vet jumped in to handle the emergent situation so I wouldn't be caught over the weekend without options. And, again, I was seen that day so another test could be performed to certify results and give us a solid path of care. I was grateful that each of the vets used the information they had and acted according to the best interests of my dog while still giving me options. I have been fortunate to have had a number of excellent vets in my years, these have been among the best. PS. Zach the vet tech is such a sweet man with love for dogs (probably other animals, too) in his heart.

Super kind and compassionate people! Dr Granbow is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, focused, and approachable veterinarians I’ve ever met. His attention to detail and thoroughness coupled with a wonderful bedside manner not only puts one at ease in a potentially stressful situation, but also lets one come away better informed and positively focused! Alicia is simply the best! She takes time to personally advocate for you and your animals in the most respectful, professional, and supportive of ways. Such a kind and empathetic person with a willingness to listen well, think critically, and care affectionately for each and every client. She took such good care of our pets and it’s super appreciated!! 💚
